This was so much fun. I read it in one sitting, and then wished I had the rest of them to plow through.

I found this to be a peculiar novel. There were several sections that could have been culled from the story line and would have contributed to a more fluid tale. The historical dimension(s) of the mystery itself were scant and wanting. But perhaps most frustrating, the tale itself ended in a manner that was more disappointing than portending of an interesting future.
