A Rip Through Time

Excellent story that gallops along - tight plot and great descriptions of Victorian era living as experienced by a detective thrown in from the twenty-first century. I'm picky about historical fiction but I found myself willingly suspending my disbelief occasionally because the story is so fun. This is a great "escape" read with characters that stay with me long after the novel ends. I see that there are six books in this series so I'll definitely be looking for the next ones!

Review of 'A Rip Through Time' on 'Goodreads'

I found this to be a peculiar novel. There were several sections that could have been culled from the story line and would have contributed to a more fluid tale. The historical dimension(s) of the mystery itself were scant and wanting. But perhaps most frustrating, the tale itself ended in a manner that was more disappointing than portending of an interesting future.
