This is probably the best available book for Office enthusiasts out there. Although I knew some of the behind-the-scenes information surrounding the show, this book did an outstanding job showing how a) Greg Daniels and his team at NBC first got The Office off the ground and turned it into a successful adaptation of the British original and b) how the writers, producers, and acting team on this show formed a cohesive and unique unit that would defy any attempt at recreation (sorry for those hoping for a reboot).
