If you haven't seen Man on Wire, I think you should see it and then read this book. Well that's the order I did it in and it worked really really well. I think if you do it in reverse order it might have slightly less impact, but I can't really say since it's too late for me to change how I did it...
Anyhow, this book is really fantastic b/c Philippe Petit's creativity and energy is really felt through the writing, drawings and layout. They've done a great job telling the story of "le coup" when he set up a wire across the two towers of the World Trade Center and wirewalked across.
As a creative person, it's quite inspiring and has helped to keep my creative juices bubbling, after a long year. Definitely I'd recommend this to anyone who needs a shot of inspiration and to remember what …
