Review of 'Scale: The Universal Laws of Growth, Innovation, Sustainability, and the Pace of Life in Organisms, Cities, Economies, and Companies' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Interesting book. If you want to get the gist of the book, which is not a bad idea, before reading it then look for Geoffery West's Google talk.
The book itself is a meandering walk through many aspects of biology and physics, urban planning and business as the author introduces the topic of the importance of scale in general.
Lots of interest to the scientific reader but the main gist of the topic can be explained in a much shorter book.
