Just about my favorite series of all time. I love this series the way some folks love Lord of the Rings - but thank goodness nobody has made a movie series about it.
Truly Zelazny's crowning achievement, IMO. The story is compelling, the characters wonderfully deep, and the plot proceeds smoothly with the perfect setup for the next book.
That this series almost didn't happen, and that they're SO slow in coming to ebook (and out of print!) is a true crime against literature. Now that they're finally starting to slowly come out in ebook format, I just hope many more people will experience Zelazny's best work.
