I have seen Michio Kaku give a lecture at Microsoft and the guy was amazing, he was funny and insightful and had a way of explaining technical ideas in a way somebody as dumb as me could understand.

So I thought I would get one of his books and give it a read.

Unfortunately none of Michio's personality comes through in the book.

The intro was the best bit, it felt like the person I saw writing it. The rest of the chapters were just him telling you what he had done and who he had met. He put down his ideas for the next 100 years but I didn't feel his enthusiasm, a lot of it was doom and gloom so poss we don't have 100 years left and the predictions were just filler.
