An interesting but challenging book. As someone who only has rudimentary understanding of both theory of music and neuroscience, the information was complex at times. Levitin does a good job to explain these complex theories and ideas in an understandable way. I also liked the personal, anecdotal touch he has added to the work. I think someone who knows more about music than me would get a lot more out of this book.
