The book is not all bad. The ideas are certainly sensible: keep less stuff, have more room, buy less stuff have more money. But:
1. It is extremely repetitive. It goes trough each room of the house and repeats almost the same thing:
Take everything out, put in 3 boxes, throw, maybe keep, keep Rinse, repeat.
2. If I read the words knickknacks or tchotchkes one more time I'll throw my kindle out the window.
3. Some of the advice are sure to make you "that" colleague or family member. No you shouldn't be dumping your c__p and unwanted gifts on unsuspecting family members or coworkers. Donate or sell it. And no I don't want your tools just so you can borrow them every few weeks, thanks.
4. At times the tone, words chosen or phrases makes it sound like a late night infomercial or get rich fast book.
