This wasn't very good. The whole book feels very slow, with every scene and dialogue stretching on for ages. The first half feels like so little of note happens that it's outright boring. The second half is better just because reading wild chuuni fantasies is fun.
I don't like how the women in the book all seem to be there to a) make the men seem like better peoplr, and b) fall in love with the male protagonists. Just feels... ugh.
Will I read on? Unlikely, but it's the sort of not-very-good book I tend to be in to, so 🤷
