Vatta enterprises is being attacked. Ky learns this slightly late being out on a run. She is now trying to stay alive and find out what is happening.

Good start to the war, though who is attacking is unclear.

It really felt like this book was written just for me, it just has a bit of everything, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, just a really great one, I enjoyed this one even more than the first one :)

I'm halfway through the series now, so I'll likely end up finishing it, but I can't recommend this series. She's been compared to [a:Lois McMaster Bujold|16094|Lois McMaster Bujold|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1199059582p2/16094.jpg], but I'm not sure. The story is there, but the way the plot comes together, the delightful turn of phrase... those are missing.
