The characters from Little Women grow up and begin new adventures at Plumfield, a progressive school founded by Jo and her husband, Professor Bhaer.

Follows the adventures of Jo March and her husband Professor Bhaer as they try to make their school for boys a happy, comfortable, and stimulating place.--LibraryThing

With two sons of her own, and twelve rescued orphan boys filling the informal school at Plumfield, Jo March -- now Jo Bhaer -- couldn't be happier. But despite the warm and affectionate help of the whole March family, boys have a habit of getting into scrapes, and there are plenty of troubles and adventures in store.--goodreads

5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. It was good to see Jo as a mature adult, withwht losing her personality that she'd had in "Little Women."
While I did like most of the boys, I feel that Alcott could've paid a bit more attention to a couple more of the boys. It was obvious who her favorites were in the story. I was also glad to see that one of the girls in the book was sort of a rambunxious tom boy like Jo was.
I'm rather curious to see how the third and last book in the March family saga ends up.
