Again, although I rarely live a book 5 stars, I really like the way the author handled relationships and situations in this book. In general, things didn't happen the way the reader expected, but nothing was unreasonable. And the affection for the main characters feels deserved. I know that I gave the first book of the series a good review, and I'm ashamed to say that I really don't recall much of it (or any), but I know the author is the same, so I could going with literary ability expectations, and I was not disappointed!
