Whites of Their Eyes

I'll start by saying that I'm not, as a rule, a "history buff". But I liked this book, perhaps as much because I agree with her take as anything else. It was nice to see written, by someone historically knowledgeable, that constitutional originalism is probably NOT in keeping with the intentions of the founders. And the description and explanation of some of the stories that we "hold dear" clear up and straighten out several inconsistent stories. I suppose that now I need to read more histories to try to get to the true story. But it's good!
