Oh dear, I'm wondering if my mind is going. I was twenty pages from the end of this book when I realized I'd read it before. That wouldn't be too awful a thing if I'd read it when I was twenty because that was forty-two years ago, but I think I read it within the past decade or so. What does that tell you about a book, or an author?
It's not that [a:Ian Fleming|2565|Ian Fleming|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1364532740p2/2565.jpg] was a terrible writer (though he used exclamation points far too often!); maybe it's the genre. In any case, even though reading it went quickly enough, I felt it had been a waste of time. A good thing about this site is being able to keep track of what you're read.
