Review of 'Stupid History' on 'Goodreads'

A scattered assortment of very short (never more than a paragraph) humorous vignettes of myths and strange bits of history. All are quite random with no real overall organization to the book. There are also probably way too many puns for my taste. If you have no real expectations, it is probably amusing enough for a quick read but overall is pretty light and fluffy.

What ages would I recommend it too? – Seven and up.

Length? – Most of a day’s read.

Characters? – Every story is different.

Setting? – Real world, all of history, including the recent past.

Written approximately? – 2007.

Does the story leave questions in the readers mind? – Ready to read more.

Any issues the author (or a more recent publisher) should cover? No.

Notes for the reader: This book needs to stay on my inspiration shelf! Not only did it make me laugh on a dark, dreary, and rainy day, it kept me awake and reading an hour past my normal bedtime! The "Darwin's Awards" of history in their own right. And yes, some of the fibs we grew up on, we know now are false. Though this short book goes into many that are lesser known.
