Mild spoilers
I was expecting more, since the reviews were so high. It was okay.
I know, this is extremely shallow, but I was already a bit reluctant to read this one because of Ambrose's name. Ambrose sounds like ambrosia or perfume or a girl's name, not a boy's name.
I appreciated the slow pace that Fern and Ambrose moved at, especially since I feel that many college-aged/young 20's novels go immediately to sex.
I wasn't the most satisfied with how Bailey's storyline played out. I didn't think it gave him the justice he deserved.
Some of the flashbacks seemed to drag on for a long time, and I found myself skipping over some of them at the end.
