Well I guess I don’t have to wonder how this series ends.
It ends the way it began. One thing after another.
Just like Lost, it’s easy to pile mystery on mystery, but at some point we need the characters and elements in the story to resolve the mysteries.
In waverider the epic series ends with the villain sort of just being weaker than in previous books, the heroine doing little, and a school of stonekeeper kids showing up at the end and just being pure and wonderful and handling everything.
It’s beautiful and weird and one thing after another over and over and always a new thing to solve a mystery that was introduced earlier.
