This book reads like a rough draft to me. It's full of errors. There are typos and inconsistencies (she finishes her drink and puts it and then he takes it from her hand a moment later, or he turns off the light and plunges them into darkness, in a room with no windows, and then he starts describing how she looks in that moment.) There are so many references to the demon inside him, his need to CONSUME the dark and his fangs?? To the point where you start thinking he's some sort of supernatural creature. He's not supposed to be. I found myself wondering if the author took something she'd written before (a fan fiction maybe?) and turned it into this. I found it disjointed and confusing. At points it felt like scenes strung together without any clear purpose. Lots of sex. A fair amount of violence. And an …
