A nice cosy escape, but wanted a bit more.

It's a nice cosy read that lets you escape to the beautiful south west of France which has been quite nice during this awful British summer. It reads as a series of diary entries that can ramble on a bit and feel a little disjointed in places.

But the description of nature and culture is great that it immerses you to the point I was reading the "November" chapter and genuinly forgot it wasn't november here (although that may also be due to the great british summer weather).

Would I buy it? No, but if you can pick it up in a library, I'd recommend taking it out and give it a go.
