What a fun book and a great start to the series. The first time I read this I was really put off by the hero's hang ups and thick headed misunderstandings in the last act of the story -- what a jerk! -- but re-reading it, I was a bit more forgiving and has a really nice wrap up for the characters at the very end. I rated it three stars the first time through, four stars the second; the orig 3-stars rating was mostly because of the jerky hero.
