I didn't have a clue this book was going to go the way it went.
I don't want to spoil anything, but some of the plot is an emotionally difficult read. Once some of the reveals were over it felt like it sped towards the end when I'd have liked a bit more time taken.
The first half was great, and the two simultaneous plots were engaging and interesting.
