A good read, an amazing achievement and an inspiring story of spirit.
Some good anecdotes and sections where real emotion came through, especially around his dog Jet, and Hildasay itself. Also some interesting survival stories and a healthy dose of respect for the elements.
That said, there's not a huge amount to this book and it is quite basic. It would have been nice to meet more of the people from the journey. Good, but possibly not as rave-worthy as I expected.
It ended quite abruptly; so I'm going straight onto the sequel - which I'm worried is going to veer into Matt Haig territory.
