Daryl Wor reviewed Georgie and the magician by Robert Bright
One of the best in the saga!
5 stars
Yes, I am calling Georgie a saga. There are a lot of books. This book is a wonderful addition to the saga in which a barn catches fire and I have never witnessed so much community spirit to help and solve in fiction. It is one of those tales where you ought to recognize we shouldn't tell tales or make up abilities in a person who doesn't have them. So the town is expecting great things from a magic show and so Georgie and his friends have to help to make it all work out in almost but not quite the way the town is fabricating in their minds. The other amusing element in this book is after so many decades it looks like the Whitakers are still absolutely oblivious that they have a ghost in their house at all! ^_^
