Assegai

Really enjoyed this story. Rather a lot of hunting, but it is central to this story. Love the way the tension was cranked up right at the end.

Having followed the fortunes of the Courtneys and Ballantynes for a long time, I am surprised this book has tinges of the his earlier novels. The dialogue about every man being afraid of a lion twice is almost present in every book of his. I must say that I liked this book solely because his earlier book The Quest was such a major disappointment to me.
