Solid introductory adventure for first-time players of D&D. Hommlet is a charming hometown for players filled with interesting adventure hooks, and the moat house is a good, simple beginner dungeon with some great foreshadowing for future adventures (see T1-4: The Temple of Elemental Evil). Highly recommended and easily adapted to other editions or game systems.
