Second book of the second Kushiel trilogy. After his adventures in the first book, Imriel goes home and accepts a political wedding. Problem is, he loves another - which will have a number of consequences both on himself and on the people around him. Imriel also gets older, and needs to face his inheritance and his own self. The trilogy stays strong and doesn't wear itself out.
