Review of 'Orson Scott Card Shadow Two-Book Set' on 'Goodreads'

A fantastic compliment to Ender's Game, and in some instances I think I preferred Ender's Shadow more. The perspective Bean has on situations, how he understands what is happening, is a fantastic parallel to how Ender operates. These are stories about two brilliant kids but ultimately different in how they command respect and operate.

I would highly recommend Ender's Shadow to anyone who has read Ender's Game, and vice versa. I think I would still read Ender's Game first, only to get a starting point for who Ender is and what brought him to this point. Things like the Fleet and Buggers are discussed a little more in detail and provide a good foundation for when you get to Bean's story and not as much time is spent elaborating on those points.
