I kept waiting for a cameo from Nick.. the casino and hotel being Lucky Days from Boys Town 7, the mention of Deanna Hansen and Mickey T working at the casino. No sign of him though. It was clever of the author to weave elements from the older series into this book since they both had overlapping visits to the same city. Other than that, the murder was fairly easy to figure out and Noah really needs a love interest soon because these Scooby gang adventures are pretty rote at this point.
