In case I'm not the only one who didn't know this, although this is book 1 in THIS series, the series itself appears to be a spin-off of at least one other series. I've only read one other book by this author (Truth in the Dark, which I absolutely loved) and just picked this one randomly. There are many things that are just kind of dropped in with little to no explanation so I checked another series of hers and sure enough, at least one of the other couples in this book is in that series. Still enjoyed most of this book but I frequently felt a little lost. Not to mention there are so many people it's hard to keep track. I'm usually reading a few books at a time but that was a mistake with this one; it was pretty difficult to jump back in. (For comparison, I …
