I picked this up for free a while ago. Very short & definitely thought provoking. If you don't have the time to go through all of "This is an Uprising" this is a great alternative. I thought the organizer/helper/rebel/advocate framework is useful, as well as the pillars of support model.

Concise and clear. Actionable suggestions accompanied by examples drawn from the movement to end mass incarceration. It also sprinkles in theory about how to look at your own role, power and how we are complicit in keeping it in power but how we can also dismantle that power, and what kinds of people you'll encounter in the wider community and applies it to actions immediately.

Practical and inclusive. I really liked it.
