When Victor's father dies and the price of corn plummets, he is forced to make a tough decision about feeding his family. This is an excellent, fair-minded, well researched book for young adults that will give them a deeper understanding of Mexican immigration. I loved it and will be talking it up to teens for this years teen summer reading. Two thumbs up.
