I wanted to listen to something quick and easy while I was walking and I'd enjoyed another book by this author so when I saw this was available through my library, I grabbed it. Gotta say: young adult books are so much better now than when I was a kid. Yes, this is a romance, but it deals with topics that I would think would be helpful to late middle school/early high school readers: not outing someone, non-binary sexuality, standing up for yourself, etc.
