Quan la música ho és tot

This series of discussions covers a lot of ground. While most of it revolves around Seiji Ozawa's life as a conductor, more broadly it's two people who love music geeking out about it for a few hundred pages. Along the way there are humorous anecdotes and plenty of interesting thoughts about music, education and writing.

There were definitely parts of this book that went over my head. Regardless, I was completely hooked from beginning to end.

Note: In some sections of the book, Murakami and Ozawa analyze specific performances (some Ozawa's, some not). It's helpful to have access to the recordings (Spotify, YouTube, etc), though in some cases the recordings are difficult or impossible to find.
