Review of 'The Coldest Winter Ever' on 'Goodreads'

This book provided a much-needed look into a life with which I have absolutely nothing in common. I read it based on the recommendation of a friend whose life has more parallels to it. Reading the "Ask the Author" section at the end was essential to my comprehension of the story, through no fault of the author, only my own ignorance. It's an excellent read.
