A rather cute book. Not being a Spanish speaker it was a bit distracting having to guess at what all the Spanish meant—without having to look up every single word. It did come across more authentic because of that though—as long as one believes this is how youth talks. Only thing one can, not living in the US.
The story is rather cute, though most of it is conflict-less and there is not much of character development apart from the main conflict. Which is a bit sad. From the middle of the book, there was not much, that happened that was relevant. But it was a nice kind of "everything is basically fine if you make the most out of it".
