Review of 'Salvation Lost' on 'Goodreads'

Feels bad to say this, but this book was really boring to me. There was one idea that I found mildly interesting at the very end of the book. That a "neural virus" can infect the thoughts of a human by making the human see some specific pattern. It wasn't explored though. And the rest was just endless descriptions of unlikely and uninteresting things. Another uninteresting thing is how every point-of-view character thinks basically the same thing about the cocooning and the alien invasion. And because of lack of opinion diversity I started to be more and more in opposition to them. I just want to get to the future part, since Yirella (the audiobook performer calls her Urela, in my opinion, which is a shame.) is the only character I somewhat like and find somewhat interesting.
