I have never read a Marian Tee novel before now and I must say I am not disappointed. This book has me hooked and I looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series ties in. Now I haven't read the series to which these are a spin off to but that doesn't mean that I won't look for them later on in the future.
I like Saffi March. There are two sides of her- one side is naive and intelligent and the other side sexy, feisty, and hilarious. I really enjoyed the friendship between Constantijin and Staffan. The baiting between the two and the possessive jealousy Constantijin feels when Staffan flirts with Yanna was funny.
All in all, I highly recommend this book. Just beware that there is sex and if you are not comfortable, then this book won't be for you.
