Chris reviewed Complete Drive-In by Joe R. Lansdale

I wonder if Lansdale has a category of ‘entertainments’ because this must be one of them. At his best he can be sublime, sometimes it’s like Stephen King in the style of Robert Rankin, and The Drive-In and its companion 2 are Mick Farren-ish weird stuff. Or as its author calls it, a ‘dog-and-pony show’.
