I thought this was a really interesting read about most aspects of the publishing business and what challenges indie publishers face. There's a lot of business stuff in here I wasn't super cognizant of, and a lot of interesting anecdotes from both the author's business and from various others in the industry. It's interesting how it takes an industry notorious for middling rewards and high risks and presents business strategies to make it seem feasible for many interested parties to get involved in

There are bits of advice that seem, if not wrong, at least presented weirdly. Higher prices don't necessarily signal "value" to consumers, for example, but that doesn't mean a book shouldn't be priced higher anyways. The number of spreadsheets felt... unnecessary. 

For anyone interested in how publishing works, either out of curiosity or genuine desire to be involved in the industry, I think this provides a lot …
