Review of 'Murder Must Advertise (Lord Peter Wimsey Mystery)' on 'Goodreads'
I first read this a long time ago. I recalled the mockery of advertising/consumerism, and bits about Wimsey's disguise. I enjoyed it -- it was a perfect comfort read. The fast-paced dialogue by the copywriters at the ad agency is great fun. The bored, thrill-seeking, self-destructive young woman is rather ridiculous, and the convoluted crime that's uncovered is rather silly, but that's OK.
