The subject matter–visually compelling as it is–is very nearly upstaged by the outrageous design of the book itself. For eyes numbed by abundant fields of white/negative space found in most books, this edition is a wonder to behold with every detail from cover to cover super-designed to the max-bone! From decorative page borders to unique image keys per designer in the fore-edge, hours of endless fascination await. Oh, yeah – mind-bending Russian graphic design too.
