I started reading this ages ago, and stopped for a while--don't remember why, but it was a few years gap. I decided to pick it back up and breezed through the rest--pretty good read.
I enjoyed it while I read it, which is what matters, but it probably isn't something i'd come back to. I laughed a few times, and Adam's relationship with his father and the issues that went with it were probably the biggest drive to keep reading the book(& yay for Antwoine!).
The twist at the end was spoiled for me (note to self: don't read comments on reviews before I've finished the book), so it didn't come as the shock it probably would have otherwise. My biggest complaint about the end though was how abruptly it cut off--I don't mind that Adam's final decision was left ambiguous, but I felt like he should have gotten a last word in or something--it just sort of stopped, and like another reviewer mentioned, I was shocked there wasn't one more page to make it more final. It almost would have been better to have ended the book maybe one scene earlier instead.
But, it was a good read overall--sort of felt like a spy movie, and I thought the technology gap (it's amazing how much changed from 2004 to 2012) was neat. It was fast paced, never got boring, and I rather liked Adam by the end of it.
Corporate espionage isn't quite my cup of tea, but if it's yours, I'd recommend it. :)
