Review of 'Axioms End' on 'Goodreads'

I bought this book solely based on the blurb and first few pages (in a real bookshop). When I got home and saw on here that it's part of a series, I was a little apprehensive. I really enjoyed this, in part because it took some surprising turns, and also because it is intelligently written.
