In spite of this series actually telling a very good story and telling it well, I'm tempted here to say, I'm finished. Finally, I'm finished! After ten books, I'm ready for something else, but I couldn't take breaks in between books because I was worried if I did, I'd never get back to it again. This happens to me sometimes. I was also pleased to find that both the characters I disliked the most came to a sticky end (Ha!) and my favourites did not (Yay!). There were a great many other losses, though, and I had hoped they would have survived, although in one particular case, I admit I can't see how that person possibly could. And in another case, if that person had survived, other things that had to happen would have been impossible.
