To me, a very important book
5 stars
I rarely use the term „must-read“, but this is one of the occasions. If you are a team lead, head of the department or just want to be a good team member, you should definitely consider reading this book.

I should seriously stop reading "people management" books from USA companies/people... like this one. The cultural differences (both in life and work) are a real thing. I don't find it worth taking into account the Signal-to-noise Ratio that I usually find in them. I often find too much praise for individualism, workaholism, and "meritocracy", among other things... And this book is not an exception, sorry to say :-/
From my point of view, there are a few good ideas in this book, but for each good one, I have found other nine "not so good ones", so I wouldn't dare to recommend it. I would better recommend reading "Nonviolent Communication", for example.
I tried listening to the audiobook, but the voice of the author is excruciatingly painful to hear for me. I simply cannot go through with it. The delivery is also appealing to me.
