X (Kinsey Millhone #24)

The book tried to do too many things at one time. There were at least three subplots, and it didn't tying together at all :-( . At some points, it seemed more that she was determined to fit the letter "X" in than to make any of it follow itself. I have not read very many of this series – the "A" book, and maybe the "B" or "C" or some other letter book as well. I liked A Is for Alibi pretty well, but the rest have not impressed me. I know that Sue Grafton and her alphabet crime books are quite popular, but I just don't see it.

I didn't think the book was anything special at all. There seemed to be too many stories happening and yet I felt like they all took too long to pan out. And I didn't care about any of them. But my X title is checked off now so bonus!
