Territory of Light

This was a tough read, due to the content, not the writing. I'm my opinion, the protagonist neglects and sometimes abuses her child. The daughter ends up with bad behavior / crying fits because of it, which makes the mom punish her more. There's not a lot of resolution or progress on this or the other tensions the protagonist experiences, and she seems to start to grow, but it's hard to tell
