Cold Iron (Masters & Mages)

I read this to the end but, really, the characters were so lightly drawn it was hard to keep them clear in my head. Try as I might, I couldn't even form a mental picture of the protagonist, Aranthur, let alone the secondary characters. I may at some future date attempt the second book in the series because the momentum of the plot made the first a painless, if unmemorable and often highly improbable, read.
