Review of 'World of Ptavvs' on 'Goodreads'

When I was in Highschool I read World of Ptavvs repeatedly because of a mistake at the library for the blind that caused them to send me this book again and again every time I received a new pack of books on cassettes from them.
It took me a long time to decide to write them a note and correct this mistake because I enjoyed this novel so much.
Much time has passed, and allot of Niven's work can be considered problematic by todays standards. (sentient aliens with none sentient females for example).
However I find that World of Ptavvs is still one of my favorite Nivens.
Involving multiple alien species, a space chase across the solar system, a deep history explaining some of the artifacts stroon through known space and an anti slavery plot line, World of Ptavvs still hits the mark when it comes to my favorite sci-fi …
